Seller did not test the device properly. My most recent interaction in buying an almost $700 iPhone 14 Pro Max, none of the microphones worked properly, Swappa staff sat idly by as I reported it to seller, and feebly attempted self-remedies like trying to clean it and update the OS (things the seller should have done and verified), and then when I ultimately determined it needed to be returned, the staff sat idly by again while the seller dictated his terms. No, I was not "allowed" to invoke a PayPal return dispute. I have to ship it back at my own risk and pray that he recieves it, acknowledges it, and deems me worthy of a refund. Seller was slow to process the refund, and hesitant/almost refused to accomodate the return shipping cost.

The iPhone was sold without any disclosure that the silent mode randomly toggles on and off. When I contacted the seller for assistance, I was ignored. Eventually they responded after I messaged them again but their advice didn't help. Ignored me when I messaged them afterwards for more help. Screen protector was also poorly installed, with bubbles forming shortly after receipt. Phone also came with a used MetroPCS SIM card already installed for some reason...

The listing for a midnight iPhone 13, I Initially received a Sierra blue phone 13 with an inoperable ear piece. The seller offered to replace the phone a with working one(which they did) but I was sent a pink phone 13 that is in worse physical condition than the original. I would not use this seller again. Prior to now I’ve had great experiences with swappa.

The phones IMEI in the phones software isn't linked to this phone (says it's a fold 4) and is different than the IMEI printed on the body of the phone which correctly identified the device. The correct IMEI says this device is blacklisted so I can not activate it. It was supposed to be a carrier unlocked device.
