One-Year Limited Warranty

Participating Sellers on Swappa offer a Limited Warranty for eligible products sold on the Swappa Marketplace.

Swappa acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for products sold on the platform.

Products eligible for the Limited Warranty are identified in the product listing, and a record of the Limited Warranty is provided on the associated Swappa sale page. Please refer to the terms for exclusions and limitations.

How it works

Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 12 months from the delivery date.
Sellers must address warranty claims with options such as repair, replacement, or refund.
Refunds within the first 30 days will cover the full purchase price. After 30 days, refunds will match the device's average sale price on Swappa at the time of the claim.

Damage due to misuse, water exposure, accidents, unauthorized repairs, or physical abuse.
Battery claims if the battery life is above 70%.
Claims for receiving the wrong device from the seller.
Products purchased outside the 48 contiguous U.S. states.
Loss of the device.

The Buyer must log onto their Swappa account and fill out the Limited Warranty form on the sale page for their purchase. Include proof of purchase, photos or videos of the defect, and a description of the issue.
The seller provides a prepaid return shipping label if the claim is valid.
Devices must be returned in original or equivalent protective packaging.

The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original buyer.
Replacements or repairs are only covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
There is no coverage for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.

No, the warranty is not insurance but rather a limited service agreement provided by the seller.
