Why are the comments disabled on my Marketplace 2.0 listing?

This is most likely because your listing hasn’t been approved for sale. When handling listings in our Marketplace 2.0 systems, our moderators are alerted when you create a listing, and it’s added to their queue of listings to review. If your listing is approved for sale, the buy button becomes active, and the comments are unlocked for discussion.
However, to prevent comments from getting cluttered before a listing is approved for sale, our moderators contact you directly via email with instructions on what’s needed when a listing isn’t ready to be approved. This helps to keep the comments on listings clean.
We also disable comments on listings from time to time for other reasons (usually noted in a comment from one of our moderators). Feel free to reach out to us using our help form if you have any questions about why comments are disabled on your listing.
