The phone we purchased was still on an active account. It was locked by TMobile a few months after we purchased it due to the previous owner not paying their bill. Essentially we were sold a stolen phone.

After a couple of months of trying to unlock this phone, I learned through T-Mobile that this phone has an outstanding balance with T-Mobile from its previous owner so I am unable to unlock the eSIM to use the phone to its full capability. The seller was not willing to initiate a refund after finding out about this. Contact with the seller was difficult at first and when I did message with them, it seemed aggressive and unwilling to rectify the issue. The purchasing and fast shipping were very good though.
