I purchased an LG Lucid 4G phone from the Cell Phone Doctor, and upon receiving it, the phone did not work as advertised. Along with being problematic, the phone also arrived to me with hundreds of the previous user's photos still on the device. Rather unprofessional in my opinion.

I then sent the device back, and was refunded for $37.

With this purchase, I got my phone, it was problematic & it had the previous user's pictures, so I sent it back for a $37 refund after paying $47 for the phone -- (I was not refunded for the Swappa fee of $10.)

While the seller was rather prompt in both communication as well as shipping the device, I cannot feel right in giving more than 3 stars for them sending me a broken device and losing $10 in the process.

Looks like I will be without a phone for the next few days...

I do feel like this was a fluke, and I would still recommend purchasing from this seller despite my personal rating.

Received 1 of 2 Pantech Breakouts ordered from this seller. First, I sent a question to the seller just after placing this order which was not returned (see other comments on this seller for their history of lack of response to querries). I received the phone today and it was missing the cover for the charge port and had more than a few scratches. I would have expected this to be listed this as "fair" due to the missing port and amount of scratches. Phone appears to be functional. Would have rated 4 out of 5 for the phone condition, but removed 1 star due to lack of communication response.

I ordered this on the weekend, so I didn't hear back for three days and was worried that I got scammed, even though the seller seemed to be reputable. Once the next business day arrived, the seller contacted me to let me know the order had been shipped, and it arrived in very good condition. The checklist to go through was very helpful and I am very pleased with the service. The seller even offers a refund within 30 days if things didn't work, which was very comforting. I would definitely recommend Swappa and this seller.

CellPhone Doctor was very responsive and easy to work with when I had to return a phone to them. They promptly processed a refund, paid for return shipping and offered me a generous discount if I ordered another phone from them. For this I would have given them 5 stars.

I am giving a 4 star rating because they seem to overrate the condition of the phones. The first phone I received had a scratch on the screen that was not mentioned in the description (I did not return the phone because of that, but because it had a serious functionality problem). The second phone was listed as mint condition but the battery cover had a broken tab on it and did not snap down completely flush with the phone body, not something I would expect to see on a product described as mint.

This was a perfectly seamless transaction and saved me a lot of money!
