Yes, a broken phone may be sent to a Partner for trade-in. Please be sure to select the correct (Broken) condition for the device you are sending to a trade-in partner for an accurate value.
Swappa and its Trade-in Partners work hard to maintain accurate values. The database is updated regularly based on market values provided to us by our Partners. Finalizing your device details on the Partner website will confirm the offer details between you and the Partner.
Each Trade-in Partner has different payment terms. Please be sure to review their payment details. The Trade-in Partner will pay you promptly upon receipt and inspection of your device. Swappa requires that the quoted trade-in value be honored for a minimum of 14 days.
The Trade-in Partner will provide you with a printable shipping label. Place your device securely in a shipping box and attach the label. Upon receipt, the Trade-in Partner will evaluate your device and pay you for your trade-in.
Go to swappa.com/trade-in and enter your device condition and information or navigate to your device using our prompts. You will be provided with your option(s) for trade-in with various third-party companies. Upon choosing a Trade-in Partner, you will be directed to their website to complete the trade-in process. The Partner will send you a prepaid shipping label for your trade-in and provide you with additional instructions for shipping. After the device has been received and inspected, you will be paid for your trade-in by our Partner as long as the device sent is as-described.

Each trade-in partner may have different criteria for the devices they accept. Please review the trade-in partner’s requirements prior to accepting an offer for your device. Some partners may accept blocked, locked or financed devices; however, stolen devices are not permitted.
