Most partners pay within a few business days of receiving and inspecting your device. Payment timing depends on which partner you pick at Swappa Trade-In, and each one posts its own payout terms, so check those before you accept an offer.

You get paid after two things happen:

• The partner receives your device.
• They inspect it to confirm it matches the condition you selected at quote time.

Once both are done, payment goes out through the method the partner offers. Most partners list a payment speed of 1 to 3 business days from the time your device arrives. That number covers inspection and payout together. The method you pick decides where you land in that range:

• Instant digital methods are fastest. PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, and Cash App often pay the same day inspection clears.
• Bank transfer takes a business day or two longer.
• Checks are slowest because they ship by mail.

Each partner sets its own price lock, shown right on the offer. It runs from when you accept, commonly 14 days, sometimes 30. Ship your device before your lock expires and your quoted price holds, even if it takes time to arrive. Ship after it expires and the partner can re-quote based on current market value.
