What happens if I don’t receive my shipment?

While shipping issues here on Swappa are rare thanks to our thorough shipping policies that all sellers are expected to follow, we do have some general stances on how to handle delivery issues should they arise.

  • If the shipping service falls short and does not deliver the shipment to the proper location, or if the seller does not ship the package to the address the buyer inputs at checkout, or the item is lost in transit, the seller is on the hook with addressing any shipment issues
  • If the shipping service shows that the package is delivered to the proper location, and the delivery appears to be compromised after being dropped off, the buyer is expected to take up the situation with local authorities for further escalation

Please note that regardless of who may be at fault, buyers and sellers are always encouraged to work together whenever shipping issues arise.
