Hello Swappa affiliates! In this month’s update, we’re highlighting one of our new affiliates, providing information on what devices have great deals and reminding you about changes to the payout structure. Let’s jump into the updates.
Affiliate Highlight
This month’s Swappa affiliate highlight is all about Jennifer O’Shea, owner and creator of Teach.Workout.Love (T.W.L). The T.W.L blog is a community for working moms and military spouses that provides resources on how to stay healthy and provide for your family. Since Swappa is a great way to save money while staying up to date with the latest tech (especially if you are buying devices for several family members), it was a natural fit for Jennifer to become a Swappa affiliate. We recently talked to Jennifer about joining the Swappa Affiliate Program.
“I bought my MacBook Air from Swappa a few months ago and it was the best thing I ever did! I signed up for the affiliate program with Swappa and I share it wherever I can. For Instagram stories, I use the Swipe Up I link to my affiliate link. On my blog, I use banner ads to place in a rotation on my main page side bar. Whenever I write tech or blogging advice blog posts, I will use a Swappa banner ad throughout my article to help boost my sales.”

New Payout Structure
As a reminder, on March 1 2019 we changed our affiliate commissions to 50% of the Swappa fee. In the breakdown below, you can see this means you make more money (or the same amount) in all tiers except for the lowest sale price devices.
This update took effect on March 1, 2019 and all new sales will be included in the new payout system.

To make it easier to share Swappa with your following, we’ve created an embeddable widget to add to your website. The widget allows you to display real-time pricing for popular devices from Swappa. Using a tag to specify a primary device allows you to give a more contextual advertisement to your audience, which should bring a higher engagement. Add the widget to your site.
