Swappa is hiring a FT Android Developer
Swappa is looking for a full-time, US-based, remote Android developer to join our growing technical team as we continue to strengthen our mobile presence. You should be a skilled and experienced native Android developer with proven experience (need an app in the Play Store).
Responsibilities
Aside from maintaining our existing application, we need a developer who is able to work with our team to take new applications from concept to production.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of Android UX
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with quick development lifecycles
- Experience working with popular libraries (e.g. RxJava, Retrofit, Google Analytics)
- Values simplicity and good user experience
- Must have contributed to apps in the Play Store
Desirable
- Remote working experience
- Experience maintaining libraries
- Python and Django experience
- Austin, TX or Kansas City, MO markets preferred
