PayPal protections rely on proof of delivery with a valid tracking number, and this isn't something that can be provided when delivering an item locally.

However, if both parties agree to proceed with the potentially limited protections in mind, Swappa doesn't strictly prohibit this. Swappa simply asks that the purchase still be made on Swappa, and the local pickup arrangements can then be made on the private sale page created once the listing is purchased. This will allow staff to stay involved with the process and offer support if needed.
