Can I ask for sellers to provide DLC codes?

We do not allow our sellers to publicly post DLC or promotional codes.

For instance, when this information is shared, dishonest individuals can take the code information from our users and attempt to redeem them. If you were to buy a game or console on Swappa that included a promotional code that was only in New (Resale) condition, and the code could not be redeemed, you would be entitled to a refund no matter the seller's stated return policy.

Thus, asking for a DLC or promotional code from an honest seller is unnecessary because they should have already verified it was unused before listing it in the New (Resale) condition category.
