We had problems with the phone freezing up from the first day we used it. The seller was difficult to work with. Finally, after a couple of months of him telling me it was error on our end, I took it to a "fix it" guy who said the problem is internal and we should send it back. Phoneguy said we could. He gave me an address. I mailed it back on my dime and never heard from him again. I had to go through paypal to get my money refunded.

Seller sold a stolen phone and won’t respond to my messages after promising to fully refund my money and receiving the phone back. Please beware. Will update rating if seller resolves this.

Speaker very weak, full of scratches, very disappointing

Phone in “good” condition came without working loud speakers. I believe they are water damaged. The phone is bent on the battery side which can also lead to battery problems or full on board issues. This is unacceptable and when contacting the seller, the seller was extremely rude and denied all claims. Give me a refund please.

Seller did not have item in stock, which wouldn't have been an issue if he told me right away but I had to reach out to him after not hearing anything for 3 days. Then when I asked for a refund, I was told it would be a couple of days as he didn't have the money in his paypal account. It ended up taking a week to get my refund and that was after I had to reach out to him and get Swappa involved. Very disappointed in the service!

Seller sent an iPhone with a burnt screen and a broken in-ear microphone and refused to refund the shipping back. I was not notified of the issues before I bought it. Not a trustworthy seller.

Just went to resell the phone on Swappa and it showing as balance due and Swappa won't let me sell the phone that I bought on Swappa. WTF..

Seller canceled sale to make more money compared to what he originally advertised. Only made an extra $50 in second sale. Good luck to future buyers.

Tested for the 2nd day. Seller is not forward about where the device came from.

Edit 3: This user is try hard to not give a full refund. He tried selling 8x Note 8's all at once and either lost track of which one was paid off or was trying to trick the person/people he sold to. I had this phone for 5-6 months and he never noticed any EIP charges on his bills throughout it all? That sounds either extremely negligent or something very fishy.

Edit 2: Phone is being returned and refund is being made. Seller made mention of karma coming back to me. All I did was abide by the expectations and policies of Swappa. I was sold a phone that was still attached to an installment plan (he alleges that it was a mistake because he was selling 7 other phones at the time) and that's a clear violation.

Edit: T-mobile determined that this phone is still on an installment plan.

Sale did not go well. Seller sent me the phone with box that was either a retail box or the sticker was torn off of the box. Giving him 2 star because the seller cooperated and sent me a return label. After i sent the phone back the seller sent me a partial refund and the other refund was sent via electronic check which takes 3 to 5 days.

I will not recommend this seller due to the fact that it was a lot of hassle. First i had to send the phone back and now i have to wait 5 days for the refund.

Phone was advertised as "mint" with "looks like new" in the description. The phone came with scratches all over the screen, some fairly deep. It had scuffs (as if dropped several times) on multiple corners. I insisted on returning, and the seller then tried to stiff me on the shipping cost of sending the phone to me in the first place even though I had to pay shipping back to him. He had no feedback when I purchased from him. Live and learn, I guess. Don't make the mistake I did. Avoid this seller.
