The Galaxy S8 Active is the ruggedized version of the Galaxy S8. Although they share the same key specs, the S8 Active adds MIL-STD810G certification for use under extreme conditions, as well as a significantly larger 4000 mAh battery compared to the 3000 mAh battery on the S8. Aside from these differences, the two phones share nearly identical specs. Both pack a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED at 570ppi, a Snapdragon 835 processor, IP68 water and dust resistance, 4GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage.
