Galaxy S8 Buyer's Guide

Galaxy S8 Buyer's Guide

The Samsung Galaxy S8 was released in March 2017 alongside its bigger brother, the Galaxy S8 Plus. Together, these were Samsung’s flagship phones for 2017. Featuring an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 4GB of RAM, the Galaxy S8 was blazing fast when it was launched, and it still holds its own several years later. In addition to the usual spec bumps, the S8 also marked the first time a Samsung flagship was sold without hardware navigation buttons. In order to make way for this visual redesign, the S8 features a taller aspect ratio screen, allowing for on-screen Android navigation keys. This 5.8-inch Super AMOLED has a 2960x1440 resolution with a whopping 572ppi.
