Samsung Galaxy S6 vs Galaxy S8

Upgrading the Samsung Galaxy S6 to a newer generation Galaxy S8 brings a handful of hardware improvements. Most notably, the Galaxy S8 features a 5.8-inch 18.5:9 curved display, IP68 water resistance, and larger 3,000mAh battery. Other upgrades include a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, always-on display, micro SD card support, rear mounted fingerprint sensor, iris scanner, and USB-C charging port. The camera, while a slightly lower resolution 12MP sensor, also saw a slight improvement with dual pixel autofocus, and larger f/1.7 aperture lens.
