Google announced the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro on October 4, 2023, at its annual Made by Google event. The Pixel 8 is the latest flagship smartphone and serves as a follow-up to the Pixel 7. The Google Pixel 8 has new features and improvements, including the new Google Tensor G3 chip, a brighter display, a satin metal finish, longer battery life, and an upgraded camera system. Along with the Pixel 8 series, Google also announced the Pixel Watch 2 at this Made by Google event.
