Galaxy S6 Active vs Galaxy S8

Upgrading the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active to a newer generation Galaxy S8 brings a handful of hardware improvements. The biggest being the Galaxy S8's 5.8-inch 18.5:9 curved display and rear mounted fingerprint sensor (the S6 Active doesn't have a fingerprint sensor at all). Other upgrades include a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, always-on display, micro SD card support, iris scanner, and USB-C charging port. The camera, although a slightly lower resolution 12MP sensor, also saw a slight improvement with dual pixel phase detection autofocus and faster f/1.7 aperture lens.
