I had to return the iPhone but honestly it wasn't really the seller or buyer's fault. There are no option to list the A1688 model as a overseas model. Typically the A1688 US model works with both CDMA and GSM carriers, but apparently the A1688 Non-US model only works with GSM carriers in the US. Seller was very nice and apologetic and offered refund as soon as she received it.
