Phone was not "near mint" -- there is a significant patch of backlight bleed that wasn't really noticeable in the pictures taken, but is fairly annoying in real life. If I had bought this phone new, I'd have returned it to the retailer for that reason. That being said, the phone is otherwise in very good shape and the seller was willing to give a partial refund to help make up for the screen defect.
