edit: Sennheiser stood behind the warranty and I received an email they will be shipping a replacement. Changing the rating to positive as the seller didn't know the product was defective. Sennheiser confirmed faulty charging ports preventing earbuds from changing and operating although this wasn't the seller's fault. Apparently, it's a known issue on these earbugs and I appreciate the seller sending me the proof of purchase receipt Sennheiser requested to honor the warranty. i haven't received the replacement product yet, just an email it was shipped, but the seller did everything they could so I won't wait for them to arrive to change the rating.
