I’m guessing these AirPods Max were gently used. It’s clear they aren’t “new” like the listing says. They have a small nic on the right ear cup and when I paired them to my phone it came up as “AirPods Max #16” which is odd as well. I’m keeping them because it was a nice price but just be honest and say used/refurbished next time.
