The phone is new, can't tell minor imperfections.
The laptop did have a stiff touchpad, and after some investigation I found out that the issue was caused by the battery, which was swollen (though it did operate normally). I am not sure whether the seller was aware of the issues, but the laptop clearly had these problems prior to me receiving it.
