Swappa Shipping Policy Was Broken
Swappa’s shipping policy states:
Standard shipping policies apply to all Swappa sales. Sellers are expected to ship within two business days of receiving payment. Seller must communicate shipping tracking data, including carrier and tracing number, to buyer and Swappa. I purchased the phone on a Wednesday. No shipping information was provided by Friday night so on Saturday I contacted the seller. They informed me that they were out of town and unable to ship in until Monday. On Monday no shipping information had still been provided. I requested it and they assumed I have received in via PayPal. That then provided it via Swappa. This could have been avoided by either 1. Removed the product from an active listing until returning home. Or 2. Contacted me immediately after the purchase of the product explaining the situation and apologizing for the inconvenience. Then immediately sharing the shipping information with me and Swappa once product shipped.
