I ordered an Unlocked iPhone SE on December 6th as a Christmas gift. I then received the incorrect device (an iPhone 6 Plus 64 GB locked to AT&T). The seller told me that she would send me the SE via priority shipping well before Christmas if I sent back the iPhone 6 Plus. I returned the iPhone. On the 19th I was informed that they did not even have the SE I ordered in stock and therefore they would not be able to mail me the correct phone. Why was I then told they would guarantee to ship the device to me before Christmas if they didn't even have it in their possession? Why did they wait until the last minute to inform me they wouldn't be able to ship the phone? Now my gift will not arrive in time.

I understand that incorrect orders happen, but why would you intentionally mislead someone?

Initial problem with the phone as it was showing as on another provider, though was labeled as Sprint. I contacted the seller Friday afternoon and they had it fixed Monday morning and we got phone set up with no further problem. Thanks!
