This sale was successful, but only because of the effort put forth on my end.

Before purchasing the device I asked the seller if the warranty would transfer. He said yes. After setting the phone up and speaking with Google support I had confirmed that I would need the original order ID or the buyers email account associated with the Google account that purchased the phone in order for the warranty to transfer. The seller did not have any of this information, and actually appeared to get frustrated with me because I was requesting this information.

I was about to return the phone back to the seller, but tried one last time to smooth things over with Google support. After four hours I was able to get the warranty to transfer successfully.

I believe this seller knowingly sold me this phone knowing that I would need additional information to transfer the warranty. Please confirm ALL details of the sale with this seller before purchasing. I got lucky.

Good seller. He said we would accept phone back if Google would not honor the warranty & did just that as soon as the phone was delivered. I loved the phone but really wanted the warranty on the pricey 2 XL.
