1) received ipad screen full of smudges (after a good wipe, there is only one minute scratch, not sure if from my wiping or was there before - I used a clean microfiber cloth)

2) the charger provided was not authentic; it rattled and upon inspection I realized it was not an apple authentic charger. After contacting the seller, he/she sent an authentic apple charger+cable

I gave it four stars, yet the phone deserves 5 stars. I subtracted one star not because of the phone's condition but because the seller sent the phone without clean the imei. I think that this one star subtraction will help sellers pay more attention for doing his job in better way.

Device was not unlocked, despite being sold as unlocked. Realized 1 week after receipt when I was out of the country and needed to use a non-T-Mobile SIM in the phone. I contacted the seller about the issue, but was assured the device was unlocked and continued to waste half my holiday weekend driving around Toronto visiting Apple stores and carrier retail locations to confirm the issue. Luckily the phone was originally a TMUS device, so I eventually got the phone unlocked using my TMUS account, but it was a pretty annoying process that required several calls over the weekend and an override request.

2 stars for relatively quick shipping and offering a full refund; don't think there was ill intent by the seller (it took me 2-3 calls to TMUS customer support just to get them to confirm whether or not the phone was actually carrier locked/unlocked), but a pretty terrible experience from my point of view.

This was a difficult transaction and somewhat disappointing. The description of the phone was not accurate since I got the phone and it wasn't unlocked. Although seller responded immediately and suggested me to send phone back for a full refund I had already wasted time and some extra money to have it shipped from the US to Costa Rica. I had to pay for an unlock that took another week and even though I had agreed for a $10 refun from the seller which He just honored, I ended up spending a lot more money that what I expected. Seller should be more responsible and honest when he publishes the info. Other than that, phone is working well and in mint condition which mitigates part of the problem.
