The vendor who sold the phone said the phone was new and it was packaged up as being new. However, I brought the phone into an Apple Store, and they have a record of the phone repairs, they said it was not new, and that the screen had been replaced at least once, and also that the screen on the phone was not a genuine Apple screen. This, on top of the fact that the battery never held its charge faithfully means that this phone was sold as new but was a scam.

Allen was great to deal with. The phone was shipped out faster than Amazon Prime! Communicating with him was great and he addressed my concerns without delay. The phone is in brand new condition and the battery health was at 100%. Will do business with him again in the future.
