The seller sent me a phone with BAD IMEI, I’m not sure if he knows but he should have checked the IMEI before selling it as clean working phone. I was able to get able refund back after getting help from Swappa customer support

I purchased an iPhone 5 in "mint condition" from this Seller. The on/off button didn't work, there was significant paint damage around the sides of the phone where it had been opened, the battery had no power when it arrived, and one corner of the phone protruded where it had not been reassembled properly. Seller agreed to a full refund, but it took Swappa putting a hold on his account and filing a claim with PayPal before a my refund was finally received.

I was very unsatisfied with the product. It could not hold a charge through 8hrs. I went through the return/refunding process and I'm still waiting over a month later for my $400 refund.

I received the device from this purchase. Unfortunately the home button is having issues. Work about 5% of the time. Everything else seems to be ok. I have never purchased through Swappa before. What is the process? Do I ask for a replacement or?

BUYERS BEWARE BEFORE PURCHASING FROM THIS SELLER!!

Upon receiving my device everything checked out and worked fine. However, less than a month into using my phone it completely stopped receiving service and was prompt the message 'not registered on the network'. I took my phone into a local T-Mobile store to figure out the issue when I was informed that the reason my phone wasn't working was because it was REPORTED STOLEN.

Although I can commend the company Swappa, who have been helpful and are working with me on claiming my dispute with this seller, Smart Gadgets has not been professional or responsive in resolving this issue. I had to pay out of pocket fees to ship the phone with insurance back to the seller as well as file a claim with PayPal to ensure my refund. Buyers should not have to jump through hoops to have a transaction corrected, and I just wanted to inform others reinstate your decision on purchasing from this seller.

I was really excited and disappointed all in one day. I contacted the seller and I informed him of the issues with the device. I had to send it back spending extra money and once the phone was delivered to him, he isn't responding and has Not Refunded my money. This Is very Poor Customer service and I will definitely not be doing business with him again.... And I strongly recommend that you don't either

Bought two phones. One worked, the other defective. Defective phone was returned to them and received by them 12/30/15. After several emails through Swappa, still no refund. Filed dispute with Paypal and Visa. Finally refunded on 1/15/16. Swappa policy is to refund return postage. They didn't. I would never recommend this seller to anyone.

The received device is not mint condition. The device has two blemishes on the bottom indicating a drop or abuse. The phone was thoroughly packaged. I work in shipping and this damage would have been visible or occurred before being packaged. The battery received also appears damaged. It's swollen in the center and I'm concerned if it can be safely used.

I am unsatisfied with the phone. If I wanted a phone in good condition I wouldn't have ordered a mint condition phone. I don't want to return the phone because this is a replacement phone for a friend however I would appreciate a replacement battery.

Shipping was prompt I received the phone and had activated the next day we stared having problems. Then had problems signing back in to the swappa site now I get no response from the seller in regards to the faulty product. I feel 24 hours is plenty of time to respond

Phone advertised as mint arrived with major screen issue and bezel dings. Seller agreed to give refund but took time in processing refund in paypal (also relisted phone for sale before issuing refund). Promised to refund the shipping fee incurred to send phone back but after 10 days and multiple reminders I have not received return shipping refund.
On the positive side shipment was sent promptly after the sale was completed and phone was securely packed.

So stressful and disappointing to open a $240.00 device that is %100 unusable. The device's screen displays nothing when turned on, only black. It makes noise and the buttons at the bottom light up but the display on the screen is completely black.
I had to send the device back and was given a full refund by both Swappa and Smart Gadgets plus the shipping fee. Not a great experience but glad I got refunded the full amount.

My experience was awful!!!! I received the iPhone 6 Plus in a reasonable amount of time but was NEVER able to activate the phone. After several attempts to restore the phone and use 3 different Sim cards, it was discovered that the Sim card reader is defective, hence the phone is inoperabe! Needless to say I'm very disappointed and upset about this purchase.

Within 24 hours of use, the screen cracked. It was in my pocket and I went to pull it out and I noticed the crack. It's possible something happened to it, but I don't think so. I think this phone refurbished and had a new screen was put on and a quality glass front was probably not used. At this time, the phone is still functional, but I'm very disappointed. I contacted the seller as soon as this happened, but they never responded (over a week ago).

The phone was received in a reasonable amount of time. The camera and the SIM card reader were not functioning properly. I was offered a replacement or refund. I chose to have the item replaced, but when I returned it I was told they were out of stock and a refund was given instead.

I must be honest and direct. I purchased an S4 and the GPS did not work. I returned it and got a full replacement. The replacement GPS also did not work. The seller claims to have tested them. To their credit, I did receive full refunds including shipping charges (and swappa staff refunded my fee also). I was only out time and inconvenience. 4-stars for being professional; but only 1 star for sending me multiple defective phones and claiming that they worked fine. (another swappa seller provided a mint S4 that worked as expected.)
