The box arrived mangled beyond belief, the Mac mini rattling around inside like a rock in a can, with no padding beyond a flimsy cloth sack. I assumed it was a total loss, but somehow it wasn't damaged and it actually booted up. You got lucky this wasn't an insurance claim. I recommend padding for such expensive items.
