DO NOT BUY FROM THIS REPAIR SHOP! The phones are not new. They are refurbished and half of the phones he sells are broke. If you actually read the feedback the stupid people had issues and broke phones or had to send back costing more money because they had to pay shipping and insurance but gave a good rating or no rating. Swappa needs to kick this person off. 2/2 phones bought from swappa bad. Not Good. It was listed mint condition instead of refurbished. It has a color spot on bottom screen, it locks up, won’t scroll. When trying to get it connected to a sims card we were told it will not load our number to this phone because of something fraudulent. She said she is ordered not to give a sims card for this phone. I’m assuming maybe stolen or something. Not sure what was going on there but after calling and getting someone to bypass it, we got it connected. The battery gets hot so there is that problem too. I try to reach out to the and no reply. I am now filing dispute with PayPal.

2 bad phones, first time the audio was in a constant feedback loop, so I sent it back and the seller gave me a new one which you can’t even open because it reboots itself automatically every 2 minutes. I looked the problem up in case it happened to be a hardware one but it happened to be connected to a procedure that apple does to check the thermal temperature (thermalmonitord) and if it can’t check the sensor it assumes that it has overheated and shuts the phone down. This is not a glitch or a software problem, it’s a hardware problem that only occurs by attempting to replace the charging port. So the seller sent me a phone that I can’t even setup because it shuts down after 2 minutes no matter what. The phone was probably repaired, just incorrectly resulting in a reboot loop that you can’t get out of.

Phone was received in good condition, however, I had to replace the screen due to it being defective with burn-in, and the front-facing camera was way off center and unusable. Luckily the screen replacement wasn't too expensive, or otherwise this wouldn't have been acceptable. Thanks.

At first, there was a problem with the shipping time for this phone. However, the seller communicated later and learnt that he had some emergency to deal with. Then he sent the phone quickly with the condition as exactly described, with even more storage. Thanks for being honest on your promise and keeping your customer happy. Will buy again. Excellent seller.

It was unfortunate that the first phone sent did not have functional flashlight and camera. Props to the seller, who did stand behind their product, and did an exchange. However, we did have to pay for the shipping and insurance to send the defective phone back and did not get reimbursed (technically, per Swappa policy, the phone was not blacklisted and could be activated), so a bit of a gray area, but we asked seller who would pay to send defective phone back, and seller did not answer. When we got replacement phone, realized we had left our old SIM card in the defective phone we had returned, which resulted in a wild goose chase (multiple Sprint/TMobile stores) to find another that worked with this particular model on the Sprint network. In the end, happy we got a working phone, just more expense and effort than we had hoped.
