Seller sold me a rooted Moto X with a modded recovery.
it took me two days and about 10 hours to find a way to fix it.
I had to sign up as a developer on motorola to get the verizon Moto x rom and then extract the recovery and then push it to my Republic Wireless ROM just to update androif from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 without it rebooting 3 times in a row.
