Is it unlocked?
It's paid off, but I'm not sure. I have one unlocked but I'm not sure which one. IThis one says Carrier Lock: No SIM restrictions
The other one says that too, so I'm not sure
Just checked with my daughter. This is not the one she unlocked.

Also is the chip on the screen or the protector?
