Headband repair: ~$300 (Apple) or $100-150 (third-party); Ear cushions: ~$70 (Apple) or ~$30 (third-party). Total potential cost: $196 + $370 = $566 (more than new!)
The “plastic stripping” on the headband is the deal-breaker here, I think - it’s the most expensive component to repair and Apple charges nearly the full device cost to fix it.
Likely pricing these at $100-$125 via local sale like Facebook Marketplace might be more realistic for selling.
