Acer Aspire 1830 11-inch mini-laptop w/ upgraded RAM and SSD
This was the very first mini-laptop I ever owned that wasn't a netbook - it has a Core i3 processor rather than an Atom processor. What a game-changer. I liked it so much that I fully upgraded the RAM and eventually put a nice Samsung solid-state drive in it. Honestly, I still love it, but I never use it anymore. It's not a gaming machine, but if you need an ultra-portable for things like word processing, spreadsheets, email, and web browsing, it is still more than capable.

Operating System: Linux Mint 22.1 Cinnamon
Battery life: Not fully tested. This is the original battery that came with this laptop in 2010 or 2011, but I have almost never used it without plugging it in. It likely has many charging cycles remaining, before it would need to be replaced. At 85 percent battery, Linux Mint is currently estimating 3 hours, 51 minutes in Balanced mode.
Comes with power adapter.
