I am from Honduras, I usually buy things from Amazon or Ebay and they send them to the forwarding location and send it to my country and according to the policies I have to ask you if there is any problem with a forwarding address, if there is no problem with the address being a forwarding address, I can buy it today.

Hello, which carrier were you using this device on? I'm a little unclear on how well this will work here in the US.

Hello Joseph, I used it with Google Fi. Think it's using the T-Mobile bands. Didnt have any issues with coverage here in Austin.

Thanks for the quick reply, Jens. I read that the Chinese versions are no longer able to have the unlocked. Did you unlock the bootloader yourself or have it unlocked through a service? Also, is the phone able to get updates with the current ROM? Or does it need to be reflashed? Thanks for answering my newbie questions.

Joseph, the bootloader had been unlocked trough a paid service. Once its unlocked, you can flash any ROM on it. You dont have to re-flash I believe, you can install the updates manually with fastboot.
