Returns & Refunds

Return Policies

  • Eligible for PayPal Purchase Protection , so you get what you paid for
  • Items received not as described shall be returned to the seller for a prompt refund
All seller return policies are based on the pre-condition that the device is received as advertised and in accordance with Swappa policies.

Returns for a refund are accepted within 30 days of delivery, subject to a flat $20 restocking fee.

If your order included a charging kit, it must be returned as well, or an additional $20 fee will apply.

Damaged Devices: Any damage must be reported within 2 days of delivery. After this period, any damage is considered the buyer’s responsibility, and the device will no longer be eligible for return.

To qualify for a refund, the phone must be fully reset to the Hello/Setup screen and powered on for IMEI verification. The IMEI must match the one provided in Swappa messages before shipping.

Returns will be denied if:
-The device is damaged (e.g., cracks, water damage, screen burns).

-The phone has been opened or repaired.
-The buyer does not remove their passcode or iCloud, Samsung, or Google accounts from the phone.

-If your account is on the device, the return will be completely denied. The phone will be locked and unusable, and we only sell devices that are free of accounts and locks.

-We will provide a YouTube tutorial link on how to perform a factory reset.

-Once a return is approved, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label. However, the shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. The device must be shipped back within 3 business days and received within 10 business days, or the return will be closed—unless there are major carrier delays. Only use the provided return shipping label, or the return will be denied.

-If the device is not returned in its original condition, we reserve the right to charge a 50–85% restocking fee.

By making a purchase, buyers agree to these terms and understand that all devices are sold as-is.

For some reason i cant buy this with pay-pall, it says something might be wrong after hitting pay with paypall, but i can purchase other phones

If PayPal is denying a payment, this is usually an issue related to the attempted buyer's PayPal account (sometimes related to their lack of a confirmed shipping address: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/shipping-address-outside).

While less common overall, the issue could also be related to the seller's PayPal account being limited, so both parties should reach out to PayPal's support team (preferably over the phone) to ensure their accounts are ready to send and receive payments respectively.

From what we can see, other sales seem to be processing without any issues, so it doesn't appear to be an issue with our site.
