Is there any drift on the joy cons and how much were they used? my nine-year-old saved all of his money for the past few years to buy a Nintendo switch and we just wanna make sure it is a good purchase for him that there is nothing wrong with it.

Hello, as of the listing date the console had no stick drift or other issues with the Joy-Cons. I am currently away from the switch but when I get back I can test again either late tonight or tomorrow morning to make sure everything works well for your kid as I totally get wanting to ensure quality. The joy cons have been used infrequently over the past year but were always treated with care. They were probably used a few times a week during the past year. Before that the console was hardly ever used.

The only issue the console has had is that at one point the battery would be very well charged yet the display would say it was at 1 percent (this happens with switches sometimes). I have fixed this issue by recalibrating the battery (which just involved draining it fully and then charging to 100 again). The battery display is accurate now and works as it should.

How old is the switch and what makes you want to sell it also are the wrist straps included with the controllers? Thanks!

I purchased the switch in May of 2023 and began using it occasionally then, as far as the manufacture date I am not sure. I am selling because I do not use it anymore, I only use my Xbox now. The wrists straps are included as well as the connector piece to make the two joy cons into one "classic" handheld controller. All the previously mentioned items are pictured in one of the images above as well if you want a visual confirmation. Thanks!

As of today I did not experience any sick drift with the joy cons.
