Hi Corrie,

How long have you had the watch and is the battery still good?
Is the wrist band have any discoloring or still pure white?
Could you explain the scratches some?
I see the scuff marks top middle, then are lines on both sides and whitish areas in the bezel area of the watchface below but i dont know which are real or just reflections.

Good morning! I purchased the watch last October. The battery is excellent. I wear it all day and use it for running and it doesn't seem like I have to charge it very often.

There is slight discoloring on the wrist band but it's not bad. Regarding the scratch/scuff, it's only in the top left corner. I believe the other line you're seeing is a glare. No problem at all to ask questions ... how else will you know? :) Hope I answered them. Let me know if you have any others.

Did you puchase it from polar?

Fyi: my situation is that i opted for the pacer pro durning polars half off event late last year since it was the only running watch in line up with the brigher display and new antenna design. I was really taken by the snow white design but ended up gifting it to someone close to me.

On a different watch I had tried to help remove discoloration with hydrogen peroxide and then bleach to regain the pure white but neither worked.

I did not purchase it from Polar. I do really like it but I think it's more watch than I need so was looking into some other options. I purchased it because I read that it was the best for monitoring your heart. I went into cardiac arrest last year when I was running. Since then, I've been interested to track my HR during my runs. Probably more information than you're interested in ;)

Sorry to hear about your incident. Hopefully you were able to get a diagnosis. It might be interesting to read about watches that seem to be able to detect occuring irregular heat beats and trend HRV - but who knows how useful they really are.
