Is this a GSM unlocked, or something different? I have no familiarity with Ting or Cricket, so I could not make my decision based on that. I am told that Consumer Cellular with its SIM will support an unlocked GSM such as an AT&T phone.
I'm still trying to decide whether I want to buy this or a new A55, and whether the new phone is worth it for me to get an Al frame and a slightly longer battery life. I presume you have no new unlocked A55's?

Since it is factory sealed, I presume Samsung warranty is not yet implemented?

Pay Pal keeps telling me there is a buy lock on this listing. I tried to buy last night with Venmo and today with PayPal, and same result.

Is there a reason this listing is showing as available but is locked?

Not yet. I did ask about warranty status which is still unanswered. I was going to move to another phone and try to buy it as you suggested, but I am holding until I find out about warranty status on this or one of the others.

Here’s some information from Samsung website about device warranty
in the case of a device, upon the date of initial set-up and activation (whichever occurs first) and continuing for the following specified period of time after that date:

Then I am being assured that these devices have not been activated previously is what I am reading. Thank you.
