Thank you for the prompt reply. Other than the lid not shutting fully while fully closed, is there any other damage that I should be aware of?
No, other than that, the laptop is in perfect condition. I will clean off fingerprints and polish before sending. I also expect that the transferable warranty would fix the lid, it was from a fall which is explicitly covered in the protection package wording. The lid also has no impact on screen performance or laptop operation.
