No, its been repaired. It got caught in my laptop bag and bent back. It was re-glued back on and it works fine now. This has no effect on the actual machine at all.

Ok but if you go back to image 1, which shoes the underside of the laptop, there appears to be some kind of blemish surrounding the rubber foot. What is that?

It was just the rubber foot that came off and it was repaired. That might just be the little bit of glue that was pushed out.
