Hi Katherine, this Kindle charges to 96%. I planned on including that on the description but it seems this is common with Kindles so I'm not sure what that means in terms of the battery health. I was a light to moderate user. I have had it since 2019. Used it more the first 3 years and less the last 2 years as I've been more of an Audible user. This device is ads free.
