Verizon is a factory unlocked carrier and I believe it’s unlocked however you will have to research on your own to make sure. Please don’t make purchase unless you are sure you can use the phone.
Awesome, yes the phone is unlocked if it is a Verizon carrier phone and as long as it is not on a "fraud" list. Can you verify there is no fraud attached? It is usually done with an IMEI # (usually starting with a 3?)

It is not on a fraud list as Swappa checks the IMEI numbers before allowing sellers to post the devices for sale on their platform. I can confirm that the first letter of the IMEI of this device and all the Apple iPhone X start with the number 3. I believe you were told inaccurate information about that. Please let me know if you have any questions. Once again please don't purchase the phone unless you can be sure you can use it with your actual carrier. We can only guarantee the phone will work with Verizon perfectly.
