Some Samsung Galaxy S5 Verizon phones (900v) have a Samsung eMMC chip (type 15), and some have a Toshiba (type 11) chip. This App can tell which is which:

I'm looking to buy one or two phones with a Samsung (type 15) chip. The bootloader can be unlocked on these, and it can't on the Toshiba (type 11) ones.

The issue is whether the CID begins with the digits 15 (like in the pic) or instead with 11 (like not in the pic).

15 is good. 11 is bad -- for those of us who need/want to unlock the bootloader.

Most people won't care.

Should another seller view this, I'm still interested in acquiring a couple additional Samsung S5 Verizon phones with Samsung Type 15 eMMC chips. They make great cheap development devices.
