Hi Michelle,
It is refurbished through Asurion (see new picture above). The dock at the bottom of the phone stopped functioning. I live way out in the boonies with no Internet or landline, so my children bought me a new phone.

Is that part of the background in the screen pics (top left corner)? Is this still 'new' from the refurb company or has it been used? Any issues with the power button? Is the warranty transferable? How long is left on the warranty?

Yes. Yes. I had it on the charger. Never used. I have a new phone. No issues. Yes. Roughly a year. Not sure of exact date but I recieved it and posted it. If the warranty says any specific date, I'll add that in another comment when I get home.
