Hi Jamaal, I really liked using my TF101 for the few years it worked until the display died. I bought it lightly used from the original owner and rooted it. I'm concerned that if I buy a used one at this point that it may manifest some of the display lighting functions I encountered as my TF101 aged, that is, going to black on automatic brightness. I used my TF101 almost exclusively for annotating PDFs and writing simple .doc documents and my dock still works. Can you tell me a little bit about how much you used this device? I am glad to see that you are the original owner.

Hi, Ireadthemanual, thanks for inquiring. I used it pretty heavily between late 2011 and sometime last year, mostly web browsing, with some video editing and typing documents here and there. This display issue is news to me. I've never encountered it or heard of it really. Would you know if this was a known issue with the model?

Guys this tablet is well worth in the $100 range. I would buy it but unfortunately it has been rooted and has a different rom. I mean I could re-stock it but I'm just lazy lol.
