Kyle, no root-kit method per se. I flash directly from bootloader via fastboot. In this case, I flashed Despair Dev's Kylo kernel, then SuperSU to achieve systemless root. The phone is also unencrypted as well...fast too! ;) Can reflash stock, unrooted if you prefer.
No, I'd be fine with it as it is. I'm not a fan of Kingo root so I wanted to make sure that wasn't used... Too much shady stuff for me.
Nope, just straight up fastboot commands for me...can't get in too much trouble that way, it works or it doesn't, lol. Been a flasher since the Nexus 1 days.
Also, is the battery good? Why does your battery widget show 42 minutes remaining on a 95% charge?
Lol, not sure about the widget. The battery is fine, I get approx. 5 1/2 hrs screen on time with a full charge
My Pixel XL shows 3 days, 12 hrs with 89% charge...that part of the widget doesn't work for crap, lol
Ok, it is in great shape...I baby them so bad, my wife hasn't even held it lol
Btw, the 6P charger is Black, I used my Pixel charger in the photo cuz the black one was at home yesterday. Works perfectly as well
