Warranty has not been started yet since it has never been activated. Warranty will start when you activate it.
Per Apple warranty starts on original purchase date. Do you have that?
I guess it depends on who you talk to at Apple. I was told, if the phone is sealed in the box and never activated on a network, the warranty will be activated when the the devices IMEI number is activated on a network. I believe this to be accurate based on these examples of ones i have sold: I sold one on 4/22/17 (from this same batch), was activated on 4/29/17 and Apples's coverage checker shows it to be under warranty until 4/30/18, a full year. One i sold back on 11/28/16 (not of the same batch, but brand new never activated) shows to be under warranty until 12/6/2017.

Gary, I understand what Apples site shows, but there are so many conflicting statements available on the web it's confusing which is why I looked up a couple of my previous sales to confirm. Please read my reviews, I am honest and straight forward. If you purchase it at $430, then activate it and Apples site does not show it has a 1 year warranty, I will refund your full purchase amount once I receive the device back and it's in mint condition and the only change to the device is the box was opened and it was activated. I am basing this on what I see from past sales. Thanks.
