Brand NEW Moto Maxx/Moto Turbo XT1225

This is a Moto XT1225 I bought as a backup for the two Moto XT1225 we use every day. Never used, carrier unlocked, still new in box, with Kitkat 4.4.4 still loaded. From the picture you can see there's a 6.0.1 Marshmallow OTA update available, but I'm going to let the new owner decide what to do.

Lots of development for this on XDA, with Nougat ROMs if you wish -- with Oreo ROMs coming soon. Or take OTAs to update to Motorola Marshmallow 6.0.1. This phone's bootloader is still locked, but has easily unlockable bootloader -- with free unlock code on request from Motorola.

The Moto XT1225 is the "international" version of the Droid Turbo XT1254, but with LTE bands 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 17 plus lot of HSPA bands. It was also known as the 5.2" version of the Moto Nexus 6. Released at the same time as the Moto Nexus 6, with 95% same specs just in a more reasonable size! Plus the Moto XT1225 had a 3900 mAh battery -- yes, Motorola gave the smaller phone a BIGGER battery!

The XT1225 was sold in Latin America as the "Moto Maxx XT1225" and in India as the "Moto Turbo XT1225". We've used our XT1225 phones on AT&T here in the U.S. as well as in Brazil.
